Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mikheil Bakradze! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Hakeem Jabbar! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bakradze lands with a good body shot. Jabbar shoots in for a takedown but Bakradze shows good takedown defense. Jabbar doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bakradze counters with an outside leg kick.
Bakradze with a hook. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bakradze throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jabbar. Bakradze lands with a nice body kick. Bakradze scoring well with a low kick there.
Jabbar looks gassed! Bakradze rushes Jabbar and presses him up against the cage. Bakradze holding his opponent close, against the cage.

It looks like Hakeem Jabbar has been cut. Bakradze gets through Jabbar's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Bakradze landing knees to the body.
Jabbar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Come on Bakradze - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bakradze pushes Jabbar back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Bakradze displaying some good clinch control by pressing Jabbar up against the cage. Bakradze lands a nice elbow. Bakradze working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Bakradze is looking to land a big knee to finish this one. He's got control of the head and as Jabbar tries to break Bakradze's hands from around his neck, Bakradze unloads with that fight ending knee, right up the middle! Oh man, that was nasty! Jabbar will need to get back to the training room and learn how to defend against the thai clinch! Oooh, his nose is a mess. Hopefully it's not broken.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Mikheil Bakradze! After winning the bout, Mikheil Bakradze thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
