Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Christian Rudolph!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oliver Twist!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rudolph manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Twist on his heels. He'll look to pass Twist's guard now, I'm sure.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Twist is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Rudolph slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Rudolph trying to control the action but Twist is working from the bottom.
Rudolph cracks Twist with a big elbow.
Rudolph knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Twist on the ground.

The fighters are battling for position here. Twist manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Twist isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Rudolph stacks Twist on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Rudolph!

Twist tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rudolph wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Twist has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rudolph is working away from the top position though.
Twist is refusing to be controlled, as Rudolph sits in half guard.
Rudolph thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Twist's head.

Rudolph is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Twist has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Rudolph is looking to defend but Twist has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Rudolph! Twist pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Rudolph taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Oliver Twist!
