Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Landry Saracen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Zamorano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Saracen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bon Jovi - Dead or Alive. Zamorano has chosen The Cat Empire - Lost Song as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Lou da Vinci and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saracen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Saracen fails with a takedown attempt.
Zamorano leaves Saracen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Saracen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zamorano's waist but Zamorano gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Saracen off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Landry Saracen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice takedown defense from Zamorano. No joy for Saracen on that attempt.
Zamorano has closed the distance and engaged Saracen in a clinch.

Saracen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zamorano tries to avoid it but Saracen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zamorano to the ground. Zamorano escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Zamorano moves into the clinch.
Zamorano has had enough of the clinch but Saracen keeps him there for the moment.
Zamorano pushes off an throws an elbow but Saracen leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Saracen drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Zamorano gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Saracen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Zamorano pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nice straight punches there by Zamorano. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Zamorano.

Zamorano throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Zamorano closes the distance and clinches.
This has been an exciting period of action!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Zamorano creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Zamorano is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Zamorano tries to circle away but Saracen has him pinned against the cage.
Zamorano breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Zamorano jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Saracen rushes Zamorano and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Zamorano tries to land a knee to the head but Saracen blocks with his arms.
Zamorano goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Saracen is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Zamorano can't fight it off and eventually Saracen manages to take the fight to the floor. Zamorano looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Zamorano looking to hit a scissor sweep but Saracen is one step ahead there.
Saracen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Zamorano escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Saracen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Saracen stands up from Zamorano's guard - Saracen perhaps looking for a knockout.
Saracen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Zamorano on the side of the head.
Saracen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Saracen feints a jab promting Zamorano to slip. Saracen then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Zamorano slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

and Zamorano counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Zamorano has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Saracen finds it's way round the side to connect with Zamorano's head.

Landry Saracen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zamorano throws a chopping leg kick but Saracen manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Zamorano tries to score with a low kick but Saracen moves his leg out of the way.
Saracen swats away the attempt to clinch by Zamorano.
Zamorano has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Zamorano throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Saracen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Saracen connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Zamorano's hands.
Zamorano feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Saracen sprawling to the canvas! Saracen rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Zamorano finish him?!
Saracen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Saracen throws a series of punches but Zamorano avoids them all with ease.

Saracen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Zamorano has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Saracen has managed to get both his arms back between Zamorano's legs - danger averted.

Zamorano lunges at Saracen with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Saracen's hand.

Zamorano lands a big uppercut and Saracen crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Saracen looks OK. Zamorano waves Saracen back to his feet!
