Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Klas Ondahl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doe comes into the arena with How could I just kill a man blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Doe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 2, fighting out of New York, Klas Ondahl! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Dean Styles and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doe misses with a low kick. Ondahl fails with a takedown attempt. Ondahl fails with the takedown and Doe connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Ondahl looking to score a takedown here. Doe is defending well but Ondahl drives through and ends up in Doe's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Ondahlis looking to pass into half guard but Doe pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Doe is in guard. Doe trying to control but Ondahl is working from the bottom. Ondahl working a defensive guard here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ondahl wants to get back to full guard but Doe has passed into side control. Ondahl prevents Doe from moving into mount. Ondahl is trying to work for a sweep but Doe has mounted him! Doe looking to ground and pound but Ondahl is blocking nicely. Ondahl wants to control but Doe is having none of it. Ondahl tries to get back to half guard but can't. Doe thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Ondahl tries to lock up and control but Doe gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Doe prevents Ondahl from getting the reversal. Doe sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ondahl holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Doe tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Doe trying to control but he's not successful this time. Doe controlling from mount. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ondahl is working to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ondahl wants to control but Doe is having none of it. Doe trying to control but Ondahl is having none of it. Doe looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ondahl is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Ondahl is trying desperately to improve position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ondahl wants to hold on but Doe pushes him away. Doe with shots to the head and body - Ondahl looks very uncomfortable down there. Ondahl slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Doe stalling. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that John Doe will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ondahl with a lazy takedown attempt and Doe counters into the clinch. Nicely done. A short right from Doe. Doe lands with a light punch inside. Doe stalling.
Ondahl tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Doe smiles and moves away.
Ondahl on the wrong end of a nice hook. Good leg kick by Doe there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Doe stuffs the takedown. John Doe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Klas Ondahl.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ondahl fails with a takedown attempt. Ondahl shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Ondahl is looking to pass Doe's guard but actually Doe recovers to full guard. Ondahl looking to pass the guard. Doe utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ondahl trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ondahl lands a couple of digs. Klas Ondahl has got the better of the ground game so far. Doe wants to improve his position but instead Ondahl has moved into half guard.
Ondahl trying to control from Doe's half guard. Doe has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Ondahl trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Doe manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Doe stopping the sweep attempt from Ondahl.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doe sitting in guard, not really doing much. Ondahl avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Doe wants to pass the guard but Ondahl is keeping the position. Doe seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Doe trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Doe sitting in guard, not really doing much. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doe trying to control the position from guard on top but Ondahl is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
John Doe has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Ondahl tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Doe swivels and escapes. Ondahl fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Doe instigates a clinch. Doe lands a nice shot to the body. Doe is struggling to control the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ondahl jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Doe walks away with a smile on his face. Ondahl gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Doe dominated that second round. That's time! Doe's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
No luck for Ondahl with that takedown attempt. Ondahl is looking to clinch but Doe is avoiding it.
John Doe is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Doe misses the shot to the body. Ondahl misses with a takedown attempt and Doe counters with a head kick that drops Ondahl to the mat! Ondahl scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Doe listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Ondahl throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Doe's waist but Doe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ondahl off to one side. John Doe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Klas Ondahl. Ondahl drops his hands momentarily and Doe needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Ondahl just on the top of the head. Ondahl drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Ondahl - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). John Doe! In his post fight interview, John Doe started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
