Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Philippe Coutinho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harvi Kalaso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kalaso has chosen Hank Williams SR. as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalaso throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Kalaso clinches up against the cage.
Coutinho takes an elbow to the forehead.
Kalaso manages to break the clinch.
Kalaso digs a good hook to Coutinho's body.
Coutinho shoots in for a takedown but Kalaso shows good takedown defense.
Coutinho takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Coutinho throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kalaso's waist but Kalaso gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Coutinho off to one side.
Kalaso closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Coutinho's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Kalaso slips nicely into half guard.

Kalaso is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Coutinho is forced to tap! Great finish!

In his post fight interview, Harvi Kalaso started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
