Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joh Jah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gunn kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Stranglehold- by Ted Nugent. Joh Jah has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kyle Gunn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joh Jah! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jah shoots in and drives through. Gunn sprawls well. Joh Jah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jah fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Gunn fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jah sprawls well initially but Gunn persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Gunn is looking to take a break and control but Jah is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jah keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Gunn throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Gunn is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jah sees it coming and defends easily. Jah wants to control but Gunn is keeping busy and won't allow it. Jah is not content to let Gunn control the position. Jah is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Gunn scores with a couple of nice shots. Jah actively working from the bottom here. Gunn lands strikes from half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jah trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are battling for position here. Jah manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Jah can't keep his opponent in guard - Gunn advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Jah is trying to stand up here but Gunn is controlling him well. Gunn throwing shots but Jah is blocking nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gunn prevents Jah from improving his position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Gunn is trying to work for a kimura but Jah is defending well.
Gunn not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Gunn missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Gunn working over Jah with some ground and pound. Jah looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Jah regains full guard. Nicely done. Jah is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Jah tries to land a sweep but no joy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gunn in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jah is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jah wants to get back to his feet but Gunn is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Jah utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Gunn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jah works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jah lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gunn! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gunn tries to lock up and control but Jah gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Gunn tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jah looking to control but Gunn is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Jah cracks Gunn with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Gunn tries to reverse the position but Jah maintains control. Jah trying to control but he's not successful this time. Jah scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Gunn slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gunn is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jah pulls his head out easily. Ground and pound from Jah. Gunn works his way to full guard. Good work. Jah wants to control from the top but Gunn keeps moving. Jah trying to stand up but can't free himself from Gunn's guard. Jah won't allow Gunn to sweep him here. Gunn is working hard here to advance position. Jah landing some decent shots from guard. Jah is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Jah trying to control but Gunn is working from the bottom. Jah working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gunn's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gunn keeping moving, preventing Jah from controlling successfully. Jah chips away with some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jah controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Jah trying to control but Gunn is working from the bottom.
Joh Jah has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Gunn lands a two punch combo.
Gunn scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. A shot to the liver by Gunn. Beautiful body shot. Gunn lands a really nice looking cross but Jah seems unphased.
Gunn lands a nice hook to Jah's body. Jah takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Gunn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gunn lands a lovely overhand right. Gunn closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jah did well to prevent Gunn getting side control. Gunn is working for a kimura but Jah is defending it quite comfortably.
Jah gets full guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gunn is looking to work some ground and pound but Jah has wrist control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kyle Gunn will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Jah fails to land the takedown. Gunn lands with a hook. Jah tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Gunn feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Jah throwing rabbit punches from the bottom - showing the judges that he's keeping busy. Gunn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jah is keeping the position for now. Jah wants to sweep but no luck. Jah wriggles free and stands up. Jah throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gunn's waist but Gunn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jah off to one side. Gunn misses with a double jab.
Jah pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Jah fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Kyle Gunn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joh Jah. Gunn tries to clinch but Jah is having none of it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gunn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jah stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Jah is trying desperately to land a takedown but Gunn is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Jah. The fighters circling - Gunn throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Jah shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Gunn counters with a shoot takedown. Jah fights it but they end up in guard. Gunn passes into half guard. Jah is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gunn slips a nice elbow through Jah's hands, connecting with Jah's forehead. Jah tries to get to full guard but Gunn has control of the leg. Jah misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Gunn seems to be working for a kimura but Jah defends the submission attempt. Jah is in trouble now - Gunn has advanced to mount! BOOM! Gunn connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Gunn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jah really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gunn cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Gunn scoring with strikes but Jah is staying in there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gunn wants to finish this one by submission but Jah is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Gunn. Gunn looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gunn looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Gunn landing shots from mount. Jah throwing hammer fists to the chest of Gunn. What's that going to do exactly? Jah keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Jah is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Jah takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Jah is rocked! Gunn looking to control but Jah is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Gunn putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Jah is still in real trouble! Can Gunn finish him? Jah takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Gunn's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kyle Gunn! In his post fight interview, Kyle Gunn started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
