Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Flavius Aetius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alejandro Mora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mora's choice of entrance music: Seven Nation Army. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Flavius Aetius! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alejandro Mora! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mora wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Mora drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aetius is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mora defends well. Mora trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Mora throws a big right hand that misses. Aetius utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Aetius wants to sweep but no luck. Mora has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mora throws a strike but Aetius rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Mora looking to hit a scissor sweep but Aetius is one step ahead there. Aetius looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aetius is fighting to break Mora's control of his arms but Mora is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Mora trying to keep a closed guard but Aetius is proving a slippery customer.
Mora manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Mora is landing with some decent strikes but Aetius is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Aetius slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Mora seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Nice strikes from Mora there. Mora thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mora has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mora scoring with strikes but Aetius is staying in there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aetius is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Mora thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Aetius manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Aetius, under a barage of strikes from Mora.
Mora looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Aetius with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Mora wants to control but Aetius is keeping him busy. Mora not landing any meaningful shots this time. Mora wants to lay and pray for a moment but Aetius keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mora is just content to waste time from the top position. Aetius takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Mora throws a big elbow that misses. Aetius working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mora. Mora looking to sit in guard and control but Aetius gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Mora seems keen to control Aetius's posture. Mora is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Mora looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mora wants to sweep here but Aetius controlling him for the moment. Aetius trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Mora looking to hit a scissor sweep but Aetius is one step ahead there. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mora is on top in guard.
Aetius working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mora doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mora manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Mora trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mora lands a couple of elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alejandro Mora dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Mora avoids a kick to the body.
Mora throws a body punch but Aetius moves out of range. Aetius defending well as Mora loads up on a big left hand. Flavius Aetius is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mora gets off balance looking for a body kick and Aetius counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Mora is lucky that one didn't land flush. Aetius misses with a leg kick. Aetius closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mora circles away. Mora gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Aetius finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. A chopping leg kick lands by Aetius. Mora throws a jab when Aetius was well out of range. Mora takes a swing at Aetius's ribcage but misses. Aetius looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Mora will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Mora fails with an attempt to clinch.
Aetius pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Aetius cracks the inside of Mora's front leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mora misses with a low kick.
Mora gets a double leg takedown into Aetius's guard. Mora throwing strikes but missing. Mora postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Mora missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Mora postures up in Aetius's guard and throws a big left but Aetius blocks it. Aetius working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mora. Mora keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Aetius's head. Mora lying in Aetius's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Aetius decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Mora taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Flavius Aetius! Our winner, Flavius Aetius, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
