Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bon Joy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joy comes to the cage accompanied by The Prodigy - Breathe. Cage has chosen Johnny Cage Theme as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joy scores with a kick to the midsection.
Cage misses with a body shot
and Joy counters with a right hand to the body.
Cage checks a leg kick.
Joy throws a left and a right that both miss
and Cage counters with a nice uppercut.
Joy tries to score with a low kick but Cage moves his leg out of the way.

A swing and a miss from Cage.
Cage pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Joy back to the cage. Cage follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Cage goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Cage connects with a solid leg kick.

Joy has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Joy postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Joy wants to control from the top but Cage keeps moving.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Johnny Cage hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Cage takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Cage tries to close the distance and clinch up but Joy swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Joy closes the distance and pushes Cage back into the cage.
Joy tries a knee to the head but Cage blocks it.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Still in the clinch, Cage scores with a nice short uppercut.

Cage tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Joy avoids it.
Joy lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Cage backwards.

Cage walks forward, straight into a front kick from Joy.

A solid leg kick lands there for Cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Joy takes one to the side of the head.
Joy tried to score with a low kick but Cage checks it.
Cage takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Johnny Cage will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Cage.
Johnny Cage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Joy keeps the fight on the outside.

Joy closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cage takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Cage tries to bench press Joy off him but Joy keeps the position.

Cage is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Cage wants to control but Joy is keeping busy.

Joy throwing shots but Cage is blocking nicely.
Joy is looking to advance position but Cage won't allow it.
Joy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cage does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Joy is nestled in close to Cage, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cage is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Horrible takedown by Joy or perhaps it was just good defense by Cage which made him look bad.

That kick from Cage tenderised Joy's leg. Joy is trying to keep his angry face on.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cage looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Joy makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Cage really felt that one!
Joy shoots in looking for a takedown. Cage tries to sprawl out of it but Joy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cage manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Joy is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Cage escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cage connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Cage feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Joy's calf.
Joy thuds his right hand into Cage's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Cage dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Joy. That did some damage!

Cage looks to throw the jab but Joy is out of range.

Joy throws a series of punches but Cage avoids them all with ease.
Cage clobbers Joy with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Cage uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Joy has time to react.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cage thuds a left hand into Joy's body.
Cage moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Joy drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Joy stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Cage.
Joy tried to score with a low kick but Cage checks it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Joy pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Cage just misses with a punch to the body.
Cage throws a poor cross that misses
and Joy finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
And that's the end of the fight!
Johnny Cage comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Cage has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
