Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brett Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brett Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rafael Garcia! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, David Schapiro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Miller as Garcia shoots in. Miller tries to bum rush Garcia with a series of wild strikes but Garcia uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Garcia shoots in for a double leg but Miller sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Oooooh!!! Miller has knocked Garcia down with a huge combo! Miller steps away and waves a wobbly Garcia back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Rafael Garcia has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Miller throws a right and a left that Garcia avoids nicely. Miller throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Garcia counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Miller looking for a sweep. Not yet Miller, not yet. Garcia is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Garcia wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving. Miller knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Garcia on the ground. Garcia throws a big right hand that misses. Garcia thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Garcia trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller has Garcia pulled in close to control his posture. Garcia trying to control but Miller is working from the bottom. Garcia has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Garcia slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Miller keeping moving, preventing Garcia from controlling successfully.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Rafael Garcia hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Miller throws a series of punches but Garcia avoids them all with ease. Garcia darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Garcia is trying to work for a kimura but Miller is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller trying to control here.
Garcia seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Garcia is working for a submission of some sort.
Garcia wants to control but Miller is keeping him busy. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Garcia is trying to work for a kimura but Miller is defending well.

Garcia thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Miller's head. Miller punching from the bottom.
Miller tries to get to full guard but Garcia has control of the leg. Garcia is working for a submission of some sort.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage. Garcia prevents Miller from improving his position. Garcia is looking for a kimura but Miller is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Garcia to get the leverage. Garcia looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Garcia stops Miller from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Rafael Garcia will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Rafael Garcia's cut. That's time! Miller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Garcia shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Miller defends it nicely. Garcia throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Miller's waist but Miller gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Garcia off to one side. Miller displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Garcia tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Miller paws at him with a jab and circles away. Garcia showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Miller.
Garcia dives in and grabs Miller's left leg, looking for a takedown. Miller pushes down on Garcia's head and hops out. Brett Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rafael Garcia. A left and a right from Miller both land. Nice combination. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Miller swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Miller lands a left and a right that send Garcia crashing to the mat, dazed. Miller thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Garcia is rocked! Garcia drops his hands momentarily. Miller doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Garcia staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Garcia doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brett Miller! Brett Miller decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
