Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hong Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and We Rollin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li comes to the cage accompanied by The Mars Volta - . Rollin has chosen White and Nerdy as his entrance music. The key to victory for Hong Li has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Hong Li!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, We Rollin!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rollin stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Li.

Rollin shoots in and gets a takedown into Li's guard.
Li really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rollin showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Let's hope that Rollin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Rollin trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Li manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Li got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rollin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Li has managed to get both his arms back between Rollin's legs - danger averted.

Li wanted to stand there but Rollin had control of the position.
Rollin lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Li!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Li keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Rollin swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Li is now in Rollin's guard. A big mistake from Rollin there, giving up the dominant position!
Liis looking to pass into half guard but Rollin pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Rollin is in guard.
Rollin slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Rollin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Li is keeping the position for now.
Li keeping moving, preventing Rollin from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We Rollin has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Li feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rollins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Rollin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Li scoring well with a low kick there.
Hong Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Li tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Rollin counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Rollin.
Rollin lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Rollin avoiding damage as Li throws knees to the body.
Li tries for a takedown. No joy.
Li wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rollin has him pressed against the cage.
Rollin softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rollin is stalling here.

Li breaks the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We Rollin dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Li stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Li wants it to stay on the feet.

Li changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rollin fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Li throws a right and a left that Rollin avoids nicely.
Li displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rollin throws out the jab.
Li moves out of range of the leg kick from Rollin.
Li tries to clinch but Rollin moves out of range.
Rollin avoids the head kick by Li.

Li clinches up against the cage.
Li has had enough of the clinch but Rollin keeps him there for the moment.
Li can't break the clinch.
Rollin is trying to drag Li to the mat but Li just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Rollin stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Li changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rollin fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Rollin slips a jab and a cross from Li.

Li throws a combination that misses

and Rollin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Li's guard.
Rollin slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Li wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Rollin is now in half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Li has hold of Rollin's hands but Rollin slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Rollin content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Li won't allow Rollin to pass to mount.
We Rollin has got the better of the ground game so far.
Rollin throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Rollin trying to pass the guard but Li defending well.

Rollin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Li wants to get back to his feet.

Rollin performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Rollin is working for a kimura but Li is defending it quite comfortably.

Rollin is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Li has managed to free his arm - good work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We Rollin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Li's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Li throws a nice looking combination but Rollin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rollin looks to land a left hand but Li moved out of range nicely.
Rollin keeps the fight on the outside.
Rollin fails with the takedown.
Li tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rollin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Li takes one on the button.
Rollin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Li wants to clinch but Rollin slips to the side
enabling Rollin to counter with a crisp jab.
Li throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Rollin swats away the attempt to clinch by Li.
Rollin is looking to score with low kicks.
Rollin lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Rollin checks the leg kick.
Li tries to clinch up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Horrible takedown by Rollin or perhaps it was just good defense by Li which made him look bad.
Hong Li has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of We Rollin.
Rollin misses with a wild combination.
Li tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rollin paws at him with a jab and circles away.

so Rollin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Li is trying to keep Rollin in close.

Rollin drops back looking for a leg! Li is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Li manages to kick Rollin off! Rollin jumps back into Li's guard.
Rollin stands up over Li, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hong Li has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Rollin cracks Li with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Rollin swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). We Rollin!
We Rollin gave a mention to [WAO]MADE IN GERMANY in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
