Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Klaus Andersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Potter comes to the cage accompanied by Super Sharp Shooter - The Ganja Kru . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Potter! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Klaus Andersen! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Potter gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Andersen. Andersen gets in close and instigates a clinch. Andersen using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Potter has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Andersen breaks the clinch.
Andersen slips a straight right by Potter. Andersen connects with a looping right hand.
Andersen drives through and clinches with Potter against the cage.
Andersen lands a body shot. Andersen gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Potter regains guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Andersen looking to pass the guard. Andersen throwing strikes from guard but Potter blocks nicely. Andersen working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Potter's head. Potter wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andersen trying to control the position from guard on top but Potter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Andersen landing some decent shots from guard. Potter preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Andersen wants to pass the guard but Potter is keeping the position. Andersen trying to control but Potter is working from the bottom. Potter working for a triangle but Andersen defends it easily.
Potter avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andersen working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Andersen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Potter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Andersen has managed to get both his arms back between Potter's legs - danger averted. Andersen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Andersenis looking to pass into half guard but Potter pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Potter is in guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Andersen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Potter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Potter throws a big elbow that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andersen seems keen to control Potter's posture. Potter drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Andersen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Potter has Andersen in his guard. Potter looking for a sweep. Not yet Potter, not yet. Andersen slips nicely into half guard. Andersen trying to control the action but Potter is working from the bottom. Potter tries to roll over but Andersen keeps him under control. Andersen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Andersen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Potter keeps working. Potter is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Andersen pulls his head out easily. Andersen winds up and cracks Potter with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Potter works his way to full guard. Good work. Andersen lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Andersen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. You can see the frustration on Potter's face as Andersen controls the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Klaus Andersen dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Andersen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Potter misses with a jab to the body
and Andersen counters with a straight right hand. Potter throws a looping overhand right but Andersen ducks down to avoid it. Andersen has closed the distance and engaged Potter in a clinch.
Andersen manages to pull guard.

Andersen tries to land a sweep but no joy. Andersen looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Potter won't allow Andersen to sweep him here. Potter throws a big elbow that misses. Potter working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Andersen controls Potter momentarily but Potter frees himself. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Andersen is pulling down on Potter's head. It's preventing any offense from Potter, at least for the moment. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Andersen wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Potter loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Andersen is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Klaus Andersen was stalling too much, according to the referee. Andersen throws a quick inside leg kick. Potter tries to keep at a distance but Andersen has taken the fight into the clinch. Andersen scores with a nice hook to the head. Andersen has Potter pressed against the cage.
Andersen scores with a shoulder strike. Andersen pulls guard successfully.
Andersen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Potter manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andersen passes Potter's left leg - he's now in half guard. Potter looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Andersen is looking to take a break and control but Potter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Andersen prevents Potter from improving his position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Andersen trying to control from Potter's half guard. Potter has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Potter wants to sweep here but Andersen controlling him for the moment. Andersen keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Potter's head. Andersen wants to control from the top but Potter keeps moving. Andersen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Potter swivels though and keeps the full guard. Potter is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Andersen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Potter works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Andersen trying to control but Potter is working from the bottom. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Potter keeping full guard, as Andersen tries to pass. Andersen is stalling in the full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Potter looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Klaus Andersen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Andersen lands a jab to Potter's midsection. Potter throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Potter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Andersen's waist but Andersen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Potter off to one side. Andersen closes the distance and clinches. Potter drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Andersen gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Andersen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Andersen scores a takedown into full mount! Andersen with a couple of short strikes. Andersen putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
That's one minute gone in the round. Andersen lands a big shot there that rocks Potter but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Andersen looking for a guillotine from mount but Potter is having none of it. Andersen quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Andersen but it's paid off an Potter is forced to tap! Nice work by Andersen.
