Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lukas Calazans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Auto Esporte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Auto Esporte! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Esporte throws a head kick that misses. Esporte buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Calazans fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Esporte sprawls well initially but Calazans persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Calazans is trying to control. Esporte wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Calazans missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Calazans could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Calazans is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Esporte is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Calazans is nestled in close to Esporte, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Esporte looks like he's trying to stand up.
Calazans is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Calazans thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Esporte's head. Esporte is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Calazans scores with a couple of nice shots. Calazans tries to score a power double leg takedown but Esporte sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Calazans somewhat. Esporte jabbing away but nothing is landing. Esporte tries to close the distance and clinch but Calazans swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Calazans shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lukas Calazans. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice body kick from Esporte. Calazans fails with the takedown. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Esporte is struggling to control the position. Esporte lands an elbow just above Calazans 's eye. Calazans is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Calazans is looking to take this one to the mat. Esporte lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Calazans has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Esporte. That kick from Esporte tenderised Calazans's leg. Calazans is trying to keep his angry face on. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Esporte fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Calazans. A nice leg kick lands there from Esporte. Calazans will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Auto Esporte showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Lukas Calazans's cut. That's time! Calazans's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Lukas Calazans overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Calazans working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Calazans with a flurry of punches that miss. Calazans trying to control the position from guard on top but Esporte is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Calazans connects with a nice short shot to Esporte's temple. Calazans lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Calazans takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Calazans seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Esporte is looking to control Calazans's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Esporte avoid being mounted? Calazans not landing any meaningful shots this time. Calazans working over Esporte with some ground and pound. Esporte looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Calazans moves into full mount! Esporte won't be happy about that! Esporte is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Calazans cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Calazans landing punches. Esporte is bucking up trying to escape but Calazans cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Calazans has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Esporte's face.
Calazans unloading with bombs! Calazans is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Esporte can do to turn this around? Esporte is in a horrible position here. Calazans smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Esporte is rocked! Calazans takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The referee warns Esporte that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Esporte is still in real trouble! Can Calazans finish him? Esporte takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Calazans dominating with strikes here. Calazans with good strikes from the mount here! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Calazans postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Esporte badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Calazans around the waist but Calazans pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Calazans is the winner by TKO! Calazans jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
