Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sakuraba Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Furuichi Takayuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Gimme Shelter. Sakuraba Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie misses with a looping right.
Gracie throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Takayuki was covering up waiting for the punch and Gracie finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Takayuki escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gracie gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Takayuki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Takayuki enables Gracie to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Takayuki manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
