The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cash fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fowler looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Austin Fowler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A chopping leg kick lands by Cash.
Cash chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fowler.
Fowler fails with the takedown
and Cash counters with a leg kick.
Nice jab there from Cash.
It looks like Austin Fowler has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fowler shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cash as he jumps to the side.
Johnny Cash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Austin Fowler.
Fowler slips a jab from Cash.
Cash checks the leg kick.
Fowler with a poor takedown
and Cash counters with a leg kick.
Fowler looks gassed!
Cash buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Cash lands a big uppercut and Fowler crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Fowler looks OK. Cash waves Fowler back to his feet!
Fowler is rocked!
Cash throws an uppercut from hell that sends Fowler clean off his feet! He's out cold! Cash stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Johnny Cash!
Johnny Cash decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
