Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Mad Cow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Brown's choice of entrance music: The One. Derek Brown has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jeff Mad Cow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Derek Brown! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mad Cow is trying hard to land a takedown here. Brown sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Mad Cow attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Brown misses with a takedown attempt - Mad Cow sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Mad Cow stuffs the takedown attempt from Brown. Brown gets slowly back to his feet. Brown decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Mad Cow is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Brown pulls his head out easily. Brown is looking to advance position but Mad Cow won't allow it. Brown is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown tries to pass to full mount but Mad Cow defends it. Brown is stalling here. Mad Cow is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Brown seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Mad Cow has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Brown is trying to control Mad Cow's posture but Mad Cow avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Brown gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Mad Cow landing shots from mount. Brown is in all sorts of trouble here.
Brown tries to hold on but Mad Cow pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mad Cow scores with a couple of good head shots there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mad Cow looking for a guillotine from mount but Brown is having none of it. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Brown is in a horrible position here. Mad Cow smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Brown is rocked! Mad Cow unloading with bombs! Brown is still in real trouble! Can Mad Cow finish him? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mad Cow postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Brown badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Mad Cow around the waist but Mad Cow pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Mad Cow is the winner by TKO! Mad Cow jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeff Mad Cow!
