Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Lennon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Duscaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duscaw is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: "I am the Walrus" by The Beatles. Aaron Lennon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Lennon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Duscaw! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duscaw lands with a nice body punch. Duscaw fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lennon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Duscaw. A nice leg kick lands there from Lennon. Duscaw fails with a takedown attempt. Nice sprawl there from Duscaw as Lennon shoots in. Duscaw shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Duscaw showed some decent athleticism there. Duscaw seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lennon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Duscaw missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Duscaw wants to work for an arm triangle but Lennon is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Duscaw prevents Lennon from improving his position. Lennon pushes Duscaw off looking to stand but Duscaw dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lennon is trying to get back to full guard. Duscaw thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lennon's head. Duscaw wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lennon keeps working. Duscaw has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Duscaw wants to work for an arm triangle but Lennon is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Lennon is trying to stand.
Lennon keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Duscaw seems to be working for a kimura but Lennon defends the submission attempt. Lennon looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duscaw is trying to control. Lennon wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Lennon strikes from the bottom but Duscaw uses the opportunity to move to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duscaw fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Duscaw working the ground and pound. Lennon tries to escape but Duscaw is in control. Duscaw wants to control but Lennon is keeping him busy. Duscaw scores with a couple of short elbows. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Duscaw tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Check out the look on Duscaw's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duscaw wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lennon keeps working. Lennon struggling a bit here. Duscaw trying to control the action but Lennon is working from the bottom. Lennon is looking for a sweep. Lennon is trying to control Duscaw's posture but Duscaw avoids it. Duscaw in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Duscaw is looking to take a break and control but Lennon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lennon is looking for a sweep. Lennon wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Duscaw wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lennon, who protects the arm well. Duscaw thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Lennon is being controlled here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lennon tries to improve position but can't. Lennon is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brandon Duscaw dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Duscaw clinches with his opponent.
Duscaw can't break the clinch.
Duscaw wants to break free but Lennon has control.
Duscaw is looking to break free of the clinch but Lennon has double underhooks. Duscaw escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lennon displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Duscaw. Brandon Duscaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lennon closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lennon lands in his opponent's guard. Lennon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Duscaw swivels though and keeps the full guard. Duscaw looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lennon is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duscaw trying to keep a closed guard but Lennon is proving a slippery customer.
Lennon trying to control but Duscaw is working from the bottom. Lennon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Lennon has gone for a leg lock! Duscaw slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lennon's guard. Lennon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Duscaw manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duscaw wants to sweep but no luck. Lennon controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Lennon trying to control but Duscaw is working from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lennon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Lennon trying to control the position from guard on top but Duscaw is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Aaron Lennon wasn't doing enough on the ground. Duscaw leaves Lennon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Lennon misses with a takedown attempt - Duscaw sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Duscaw lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lennon circles away quickly and effectively. Lennon takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Lennon tries for a takedown but Duscaw sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aaron Lennon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lennon keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Lennon slaps away a takedown attempt from Duscaw, before circling back to the center of the mat. Duscaw closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lennon circles away. Duscaw shoots in looking for a takedown. Lennon tries to sprawl out of it but Duscaw keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lennon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Duscaw shoots in for a takedown but Lennon shows good takedown defense. Duscaw is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lennon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Duscaw shoots in but Lennon avoids the takedown attempt easily. Lennon looking to score a takedown here. Duscaw is defending well but Lennon drives through and ends up in Duscaw's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Duscaw tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lennon trying to control the position from guard on top but Duscaw is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Duscaw is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Aaron Lennon will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Duscaw listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Lennon shoots for a double leg takedown but Duscaw sprawls well. He's pushed Lennon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Lennon shoots in but Duscaw avoids the takedown attempt easily. Duscaw misses with a body shot.

Duscaw lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Lennon tries to clinch there but Duscaw circles away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Duscaw. Duscaw throws a right hand that misses
and Lennon counters with a series of strikes. Duscaw will be more careful next time no doubt. Lennon tries to clinch there but Duscaw circles away.
Duscaw misses with an uppercut
and Lennon counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lennon. Lennon can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aaron Lennon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Duscaw is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Duscaw wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duscaw breaks from the clinch.
Lennon shoots in for a takedown but Duscaw shows good takedown defense. Duscaw throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Duscaw looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Duscaw takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. No luck with that takedown attempt from Lennon. Lennon with a hook. Lennon closes the distance and pushes Duscaw back into the cage. Duscaw escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lennon scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Brandon Duscaw has been cut. Duscaw swings widly with a right hand
and Lennon counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lennon. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lennon looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lennon wants to stand but Duscaw has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Lennon trying to control but Duscaw is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Aaron Lennon. Duscaw digs a good body shot into Lennon's ribs. Lennon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duscaw stuffs the takedown. Lennon misses with a looping right. Duscaw throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lennon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Brandon Duscaw seems to be getting the better of the standup. Lennon throws a series of strikes that have Duscaw backpedaling.

A telegraphed right hand from Duscaw misses the target. Duscaw fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Nice defenses there by Lennon. Lennon takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Lennon counters with a good low kick that Duscaw was not able to check. Lennon gets a clinch.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Duscaw shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lennon but Lennon pushes him off and we're back to square one. Duscaw shoots in and drives through. Lennon sprawls well. Lennon looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Lennon misses with a takedown attempt - Duscaw sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Aaron Lennon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Duscaw misses the shot to the body. A head kick misses from Lennon. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Duscaw keeps the fight on the outside. Lennon fails to land the takedown. Lennon closes the distance and clinches up with Duscaw, looking for a takedown. Lennon pushes Duscaw against the cage but Duscaw circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Aaron Lennon showed his dominance in that final round. I think Lennon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
