Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luigi Fry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Luigi Fry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John White! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fry on his heels. He'll look to pass Fry's guard now, I'm sure. White trying to control the position from guard on top but Fry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fry is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. White won't allow Fry to sweep him here. Fry pulls White in close to prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up. John White was stalling too much, according to the referee. White looking to score a takedown here. Fry is defending well but White drives through and ends up in Fry's guard. Fry is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. White trying to control the position from guard on top but Fry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fry has his hands on White's head, controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Fry shoots for a takedown but White saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. White tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. John White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. White moves into the clinch successfully.
A short right from White. Fry tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. White just stands there and leans against the cage. Fry is trying to pull guard but White turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luigi Fry. That's going to take a lot out of him. White is working Fry over against the cage. White pushes Fry back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Fry tries to land knees in the clinch but White avoids the damage to the body. Fry tries to pull guard but White won't allow it.
Fry has White pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. White manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. White is defending well against a takedown attempt. A short right from White. A short uppercut from White.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fry fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Fry looking for a takedown. White throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Frys head. A short right hand to the side of the head by White. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! White working some nice short punches in the clinch. White ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. White no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. White looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Fry trying to control the position from guard on top but White is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Fry controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Fry drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fry jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. White working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fry doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fry manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. White working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Fry has passed into half guard!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fry seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. White taking some punishment here, with Fry in his half guard. Fry passes the guard and advances to mount! BOOM! Fry connects with a massive shot to the dome!
White bucks up and throws Fry to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! White scores with a three punch combo!
White tries to close the distance and clinch but Fry swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. White moves in looking to clinch but Fry pushes him off. White misses with a head kick.
Fry fails with the takedown. White closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fry's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Fry controlling the position. White looking to control the position here, rather than advance. White has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Fry to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! White is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Fry pulls down on the head and he's put White to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Luigi Fry! Luigi Fry seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
