Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Burnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paddy Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Brandon Burnett has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brandon Burnett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paddy Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Burnett. That one must have hurt.
Tyson dives in and grabs Burnett's left leg, looking for a takedown. Burnett pushes down on Tyson's head and hops out.
Burnett fails in his attempt to clinch.

Tyson is trying to trip Burnett. He has hold of a leg but Burnett is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Tyson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Tyson wants to control from the top but Burnett keeps moving.

Burnett throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Tyson escapes and throws Burnett's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Tyson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Tyson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Burnett sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tyson somewhat.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Burnett manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tyson manages to get himself to full guard.

A close round but Paddy Tyson will probably get the nod.

Tyson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Burnett has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tyson has managed to get both his arms back between Burnett's legs - danger averted.

Tyson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Burnett knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Tyson. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Tyson is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Tyson gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Tyson gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Tyson apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Tyson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Burnett has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Tyson escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Tyson!

Tyson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Burnett is looking to escape.

I've got Tyson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
