Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tez Bone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kiwi Bird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kiwi Bird has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tez Bone's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tez Bone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 90 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kiwi Bird! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bird gets tackled into the cage by Bone. Bone maintains the clinch. Bone jumps guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Bird avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Bird would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Bone has his feet on Bird's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Nice body kick from Bone.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bone closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bird to the mat! Bird manages to get full guard. Bone showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Bone stands up over Bird, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Bone thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Bone slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Bone controls the position. Bone is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bird is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bone misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Bone controlling from side mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bone looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Bird is avoiding damage well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bone is staying tight to Bird's torso, preventing him from escaping. Bone lands an elbow. Bone staying calm. Bird should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Bone's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bone decides to stand back up. Bone has managed to clinch.
Bone has hold of one of Bird's legs. Bird is fighting the takedown attempt but Bone gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Bone with a nice head shot there. Bone working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bone controlling from the top position. Bone advances to half guard. Well, if Bone is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bird is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bone scores with a couple of nice shots. Bone passes the guard and advances to mount! Bone really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bone is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Bird can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tez Bone dominated that round. That's time! Bone's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Bone ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bone no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Bone is controlling Bird's posture. Bone lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bird! Bone looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Bone is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Bird can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Bird wants to try and get back to his feet. Bone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bone lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bone content just to control the position here. Bone stands up from mount. Strange move. Bone bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Bone controls the position. Bone creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Bird sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Bone working the head and body with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bird trying to remain calm as Bone controls from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bone tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bone has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Bone has knee on belly and moves into mount. Bone stands up from mount. Strange move. Bone throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bird tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bone is in Bird's guard. Bone passes Bird's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Bone is controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bone thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bird's head. Bone stands up from half guard. Bone lands a high kick!
Bone fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bird, pushing him back against the cage. Bone breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bone clinches with his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bone pulls guard effortlessly. Bone has his feet on Bird's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bone closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bone working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Bird wants to get back to his feet but Bone drags him back down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tez Bone dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Bird gets caught flat footed, as Bone shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Bird wants to stand but Bone is controlling the position. Bone sitting in guard here, content to control. Bone decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Bird gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bone to score an easy takedown into full guard. Bird is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bone is controlling him. Bird takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bone postures up and lands a big shot to Bird's brow. Tez Bone overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bone sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bird's guard. Bone is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bird can do to turn this around? Bone trying to control the pace. Bird wants to get back to his feet. Bone performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Bone stands up from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bone lands a head kick!
Bone moves into the clinch successfully.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bone thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Bird got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bird has managed to get both his arms back between Bone's legs - danger averted. Bird is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Bone has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bird is looking to defend but Bone has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bird! Bone pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bird taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Tez Bone!
