Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between saku raba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TERRE EL UNICO (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
raba thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on EL UNICO if he has to take too many more of those.
raba closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
EL UNICO tries to improve position but can't.
You can see the frustration on EL UNICO's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
raba tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
EL UNICO is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on raba's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

EL UNICO turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and EL UNICO manages to end up in side control.

raba sneaks out the side door and pushes EL UNICO away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

EL UNICO is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. raba can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
EL UNICO is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but raba is surviving well by controlling EL UNICO's body position as best he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round but I would say that saku raba will probably get the nod.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

raba decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

EL UNICO should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

raba is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. EL UNICO can't fight it off and eventually raba manages to take the fight to the floor. EL UNICO looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

raba is working EL UNICO over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

raba decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

raba will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

EL UNICO is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and raba dives into side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
EL UNICO is looking to regain half guard here but raba keeps moving and retains side control.
raba tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no raba has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
EL UNICO is positioning himself well to prevent raba advancing to mount.

Well raba has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
