The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Indio slips a jab and a cross from Kang.
Kang tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Indio paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Indio tries a head kick but it misses.
Indio takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Kang displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Indio.
Kang lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kang.
Erick Indio is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kang will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Indio doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Indio takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
No joy there for Kang, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kang tries to clinch up but Indio circles away and keeps his distance.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Indio crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kang - the referee stops the clock and Indio gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kang. Indio manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Kang has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Well Kang has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
