Dixon is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Aaron Lewis - Country Boy. Kage Dixon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hernandez moves into the clinch.

Dixon cracks Hernandez with a big right hand but Hernandez just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Hernandez throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Hernandez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dixon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Dixon is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hernandez to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hernandez shrugs it off.

Dixon prevents Hernandez from getting the reversal.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dixon looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Dixon goes for an armbar but Hernandez turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Hernandez.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Reuben Hernandez will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Hernandez fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dixon sprawls well initially but Hernandez persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dixon is breathing heavily.

Hernandez slips a nice elbow through Dixon's hands, connecting with Dixon's forehead.

Hernandez throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Hernandez thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dixon's head.
Hernandez thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Hernandez looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dixon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Reuben Hernandez overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Hernandez lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Dixon wants to get back to full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hernandez seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hernandez lands a big elbow - Dixon is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Hernandez!
