Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Erwin Tulfo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zac Dane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Zac Dane!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dane scores with a takedown into Tulfo's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Dane drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tulfo dives on top into guard.

Tulfo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dane swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tulfo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Tulfo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dane dives on top into guard.
Tulfo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dane is one step ahead there.

Tulfo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Dane has gone for a leg lock! Tulfo slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dane's guard.

Tulfo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Tulfo passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Tulfo is looking to take a break and control but Dane is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tulfo decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dane to his feet.
A head kick by Dane misses
and Tulfo counters with a nice low kick that buckles Dane's knee momentarily.
Dane looks gassed!
Tulfo connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tulfo throws a sloppy head kick and Dane moves out of range easily.

Tulfo has Dane pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Dane manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Dane loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Dane has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Tulfo closes the distance and pushes Dane back into the ropes.

Tulfo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tulfo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tulfo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tulfo lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Dane goes down and covers up as Tulfo starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Erwin Tulfo!
