Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jerzy Kosinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jerzy Kosinski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ray Thomas! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kosinski circles away from the clinch attempt and Kosinski connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Ray Thomas has been cut. Thomas throws a combination. Kosinski tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Thomas avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Thomas is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Thomas shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kosinski sprawls well. Kosinski wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Thomas gets slowly back to his feet. Kosinski forces Thomas back against the cage and clinches. Kosinski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Thomas moves to clinch but Kosinski breaks away and Kosinski counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thomas tries to clinch but Kosinski moves away enabling Kosinski to counter with a crisp jab. Kosinski lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Kosinski circles away from the clinch attempt and Kosinski counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kosinski. Kosinski manages to break the clinch.
Thomas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kosinski.
Thomas ducks under a wild hook from Kosinski. Kosinski scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. This has been an exciting period of action! Kosinski circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kosinski sizes up Thomas with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
That has opened up Ray Thomas's cut even more. Thomas fails with an attempt to clinch.
Thomas takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kosinski misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Thomas wants to clinch and Kosinski counters with a stiff right hand. Kosinski fails to land with a series of punches.
Thomas fails to land the takedown. Thomas looks gassed! Kosinski thuds a left hand into Thomas's body. Kosinski feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Thomas crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jerzy Kosinski!
