Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Rambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guigui Borgne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rambo avoids a punch combination nicely.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rambo enables Borgne to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rambo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Rambo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Borgne moves in looking to clinch but Rambo pushes him off.

A clash of legs there as Rambo blocks the low kick.

Rambo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Borgne on his heels. He'll look to pass Borgne's guard now, I'm sure.

Rambo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Borgne is aware though and is defending well.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rambo has gone for a leg lock! Borgne slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rambo's guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that John Rambo will probably get the nod.

Borgne ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Borgne no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Rambo stands and throws Borgne's legs to the side, diving into side control.
