The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Da Silva.
Sloppy strikes from Tibbs. Those never looked like landing.
Tibbs throws a leg kick that misses.
Tibbs needs to keep his hands up - Da Silva had a free shot at his head there.
Da Silva lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Tibbs misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Da Silva.
Tibbs thuds his right hand into Da Silva's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Da Silva fails to land with a series of punches.
Tibbs smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
No joy there for Da Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tibbs throws a nice looking combination but Da Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tibbs misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Da Silva throws a hook to the side of Tibbs's head but Tibbs sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tibbs fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Da Silva manages to avoid it.
Tibbs pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A punch combination from Tibbs misses.
Tibbs throws a right hand that Da Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Da Silva also avoids with ease.
Tibbs pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A thudding body kick lands there by Da Silva!
Da Silva gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Da Silva scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Tibbs is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Da Silva goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Terry Tibbs has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A left lands for Tibbs.
Tibbs rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Da Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Da Silva lands a high kick!
Da Silva lands a slapping body shot.
Tibbs swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Da Silva clinches up with Tibbs and pushes him back against the cage.
Tibbs wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Da Silva lands an elbow just above Tibbs 's eye.

Da Silva drops Tibbs with a big knee straight up the middle! Tibbs is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Tibbs is rocked!
Tibbs looks gassed!
Da Silva steps in with a hook that catches Tibbs right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Da Silva follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Tibbs looks absolutely devastated.
