Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heddy Lamaar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fight Prototype (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Heddy Lamaar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fight Prototype! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lamaar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Lamaar closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Lamaar throws an elbow but Prototype slips to the side and avoids it well. Lamaar connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Prototype some visible discomfort.
Lamaar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lamaar is chipping away with strikes.
Prototype is trying to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Prototype is not content to let Lamaar control the position. Prototype is pushing Lamaar's head away, looking to escape. Lamaar manages to hold on to the position though. Lamaar working the ground and pound. Lamaar cracks Prototype with an elbow. That is naaassty. Prototype is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lamaar is working Prototype over with some ground and pound from side control. Lamaar misses with the ground and pound. Prototype is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Prototype is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Prototype takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Prototype wants to get back to his feet but Lamaar drags him back down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Lamaar lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Prototype tries to escape but Lamaar is in control. Prototype looks gassed! Prototype tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Lamaar looking to finish Prototype with some ground and pound. This is bad for Prototype! Prototype takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Lamaar with the ground and pound from mount. Lamaar wants to control the pace but Prototype is squirming around nicely. Lamaar postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Prototype looks a forlorn figure.

Lamaar has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Prototype's face.
Lamaar controlling the pace for now. Prototype really wants to buck Lamaar off and get back to his feet. Lamaar could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lamaar scoring with strikes but Prototype is staying in there. Lamaar lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The referee warns Prototype that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Heddy Lamaar dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
No luck for Lamaar with that takedown attempt. Lamaar has closed the distance and engaged Prototype in a clinch.
Lamaar is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Prototype can't fight it off and eventually Lamaar manages to take the fight to the floor. Prototype looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Lamaar postures up in Prototype's guard and throws a big left but Prototype blocks it. Prototype utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Prototype is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lamaar is controlling him. Lamaar is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lamaar scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Lamaar wants to control from the top but Prototype keeps moving. Lamaar cracks Prototype with a solid left hand. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lamaar thows a big elbow that misses.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lamaar swats away the attempt to clinch by Prototype. Prototype tries to close the distance and clinch but Lamaar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Lamaar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Prototype fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lamaar.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Prototype tries to clinch up and Lamaar counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Prototype's guard now. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Lamaar's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Prototype keeping full guard, as Lamaar tries to pass. Prototype wants to stand and escape but Lamaar is having none of it. Lamaar trying to control but Prototype is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lamaar is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Prototype is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Lamaar is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Prototype is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Prototype keeping full guard, as Lamaar tries to pass.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Prototype swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Prototype is looking to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Prototype has managed to clinch.
Prototype is trying to maintain a safe position but Lamaar gets an underhook and turns Prototype into the cage. Lamaar tries to pull guard but Prototype won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Heddy Lamaar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lamaar changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Prototype fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Heddy Lamaar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A shot to de liver by Prototype. Beautiful body shot. Prototype forces Lamaar back against the cage and clinches. Lamaar fails to pull guard.
Prototype breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Prototype scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lamaar doesn't seem bothered though. Prototype throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lamaar circles away from the clinch attempt and Lamaar counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lamaar. Prototype wants to stand up but Lamaar is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lamaar throws and elbow that misses. Prototype uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lamaar's guard. Nice move by Prototype! Prototype preventing the sweep. Prototype wanted to stand there but Lamaar had control of the position. Prototype wants to stand and escape but instead Lamaar has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Prototype is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Lamaar loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Prototype throws a body punch but Lamaar moves out of range. Lamaar shoots for a takedown but Prototype saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Prototype wants to clinch. An inside leg kick lands from Prototype. Fight Prototype is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lamaar moves into range and clinches up with Prototype. Lamaar jumps into guard, dragging Prototype to the mat.
Lamaar wants to sweep here but Prototype controlling him for the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Fight Prototype comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Lamaar has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
