The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cutty lands with a hook. Matic tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Cutty slaps away a takedown attempt from Matic, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Matic takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Sloppy strikes from Cutty. Those never looked like landing.
Matic takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Matic throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Cutty throws a series of punches but Matic moves out of range.
Cutty scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cutty is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Cutty makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cutty.
Matic pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cutty is keeping the position for now.
Cutty pulls Matic in close to prevent any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Cutty's jab looks to have found its range, popping Matic under the eye.
Matic avoids a punch combination nicely.

Matic shoots in looking for a takedown. Cutty tries to sprawl out of it but Matic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cutty manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Matic shoots for a double leg takedown but Cutty sprawls well. He's pushed Matic's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Cutty cracks Matic with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Matic looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Cutty finish him?

Matic is breathing heavily.
Cutty rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Matic moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Matic needs to keep his hands up - Cutty had a free shot at his head there.
Cutty stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Matic is rocked!
Cutty is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Matic can do to turn this around?
Cutty steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Matic is out on his feet! Cutty sets himself and nearly takes Matic's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
