The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martinez throws a nice looking combination but Womack bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Womack throws a low kick, looking for Martinez's leg but Martinez calmly moves out of range. Womack slips a jab and a cross from Martinez.
Womack doesn't manage to clinch there - Martinez circles away.

Womack fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Martinez sprawls well initially but Womack persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
