Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Link James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Shitna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shitna has chosen Earthquake as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Link James has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Link James seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James fails in his attempt to clinch.
Shitna shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
James throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Link James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shitna leaves James with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
James doesn't manage to clinch there - Shitna circles away.
James tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
James throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
James wants to clinch

and Shitna counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Shitna is thwarting James's attempts to control the position.
Shitna moves into full mount! James won't be happy about that!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shitna wants to finish this one by submission but James is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Shitna.
Shitna wants to control the pace but James is squirming around nicely.

Shitna is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Shitna extends the arm and James is forced to tap!
