The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Block with a poor takedown
and Malone counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Christian Block has been cut.
Malone gets a clinch.
Block has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Malone after a bit of a struggle.
Malone lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Malone scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Block is rocked!
Malone escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Oh Block is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Malone moves into the clinch successfully.
Malone's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Block seems to have got his legs back now.
Malone receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
Block wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Christian Block. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Malone pushes Block against the cage. Malone is working some dirty boxing. Malone pushes off with a quick right hook! Block goes down! Block tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Malone moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gunner Malone!
