Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brodie Boyce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Witcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boyce comes to the cage accompanied by "Lunatic Fringe" by Red Rider. Witcher has chosen Vader - Sword of the Witcher as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brodie Boyce!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Witcher!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Witcher tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Boyce swivels and escapes.
Boyce comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Boyce drops Witcher with a nice combination! Boyce dives into Witcher's guard, looking to finish!
Witcher is rocked!
It looks like Marcus Witcher has been cut.
Boyce is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Witcher had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Boyce is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Witcher Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Boyce's back instead.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boyce wants to get back to his feet.
Witcher is trying to stick to Boyce's back but Boyce is turning into Witcher. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Witcher's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Boyce.

Witcher utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Boyce stands and steps away. Witcher gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Boyce cracks Witcher on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Witcher falls backwards against the cage. Boyce follows up with more strikes that drop Witcher to his knees. Boyce keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Witcher! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brodie Boyce!
