The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pael fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Koskinen manages to avoid it.
Pael moves out of range of the leg kick from Koskinen.
Koskinen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Pael lands a nice shot to the body.
Pael ducks under a wild hook from Koskinen.
Pael bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Koskinen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Pael uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Koskinen.
A jab from Koskinen finds it's way through Pael's defenses.
Koskinen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Koskinen misses the shot to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pael lands a left and a right that send Koskinen crashing to the mat, dazed. Pael thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Pietari Koskinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Koskinen slips a jab and a cross from Pael.

Koskinen misses with a right hand
and Pael counters with a crisp right that sends Koskinen to the canvas! Pael follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
