Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Allister Fiend (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommy Gunn is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Allister Fiend! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tommy Gunn! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fiend clinches up with Gunn and pushes him back against the cage. Fiend tries to score a body lock takedown but Gunn shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Fiend tries to pull guard but Gunn won't allow it.
Gunn tries for a takedown. No joy.
Gunn has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Fiend regains guard immediately. Fiend is looking to stand up but Gunn isn't so interested in that idea. Gunn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fiend is keeping the position for now. Gunn drops back looking for a leg! Fiend is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fiend manages to kick Gunn off! Gunn jumps back into Fiend's guard. Gunn passes Fiend's left leg - he's now in half guard. Gunn seems to be working for a kimura but Fiend defends the submission attempt. Fiend is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gunn's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gunn's back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Gunn rolls, trying to escape but Fiend keeps control of the position.
Fiend missing with punches from the back. Fiend connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Gunn to escape the position.
Gunn tries to break free.
Fiend tries to get the hooks in deep but Gunn pushed the leg off. Gunn tries to break free.
Gunn breaks Fiend's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Fiend keeping full guard, as Gunn tries to pass. Fiend controls Gunn momentarily but Gunn frees himself. Fiend is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gunn is controlling him. Fiend tries to land a sweep but no joy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Gunn looks to clinch and Fiend counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Gunn looks gassed! Fiend changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gunn tries to avoid it but Fiend manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gunn to the ground. Gunn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Allister Fiend. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fiend uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gunn.
Fiend changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gunn tries to avoid it but Fiend manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gunn to the ground. Gunn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fiend connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Fiend shoots in but no luck this time. Fiend tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Fiend scores with a three punch combo!
Gunn waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Fiend. Gunn has taken the fight to the clinch.
Gunn wants a takedown but no success here.
Gunn tries for a takedown but Fiend manages to get underhooks.

Fiend escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fiend gets the takedown into side control. Fiend trying to control the position but Gunn is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gunn is looking for a sweep. Fiend stands up and beckons Gunn to his feet. Tommy Gunn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horrible takedown by Gunn or perhaps it was just good defense by Fiend which made him look bad. Fiend lands a front kick. Fiend scores with a shot to the body.
Fiend fails in his attempt to clinch. Gunn shoots in and bounces Fiend off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Fiend keeping moving, preventing Gunn from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fiend lands a decent shot there. Fiend looking for a sweep. Not yet Fiend, not yet. Fiend trying to keep a closed guard but Gunn is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gunn forces his way into half guard. Fiend manages to escape and get back to his feet! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gunn moves into the clinch successfully.
Gunn decides to pull guard. Fiend stopping the sweep attempt from Gunn. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Allister Fiend will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Gunn misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Fiend counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Gunn! Gunn is trying to escape the mount.
Gunn is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Fiend lands a big elbow. Gunn is desperately trying to improve his position but Fiend has a good base and remains in mount. Fiend can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gunn is looking to escape. Fiend working the ground and pound effectively.
Gunn is working to get back to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fiend is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Gunn is surviving well by controlling Fiend's body position as best he can. Fiend avoids the attempt from Gunn to control. BOOM! Fiend connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Gunn can't escape the position.
Gunn regains half guard. Gunn works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gunn looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Fiend forces his way into half guard. Gunn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Fiend is trying to control the action in half guard but Gunn is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Gunn actively working from the bottom here. Gunn looking for submissions off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gunn is trying to maintain the position but Fiend is very close to passing his half guard. Gunn is looking for a sweep. Fiend is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Fiend closes the distance and clinches. Fiend manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Fiend controls Gunn momentarily but Gunn frees himself. Gunn tries to free his leg and advance position but Fiend is retaining full guard. Gunn looking to sit in guard and control but Fiend gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Gunn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fiend is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fiend lands a couple of elbows. Fiend decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gunn, up you get! Gunn wants to clinch. Gunn fails with a takedown attempt. Gunn has his takedown stuffed and Fiend counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Fiend throws a head kick that misses. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fiend. Gunn gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Fiend decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gunn's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Allister Fiend dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Gunn shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Fiend wants to control but Gunn is having none of it. Gunn moves to the back position. Fiend rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Fiend is trying to maintain the position but Gunn is very close to passing his half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Gunn is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gunn has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Fiend wants to hold on but Gunn pushes him away. Gunn is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Fiend is forced to tap! Great finish!
