Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Bratts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Bratts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Brian Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bratts shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Wilson jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Wilson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bratts's hands.
Wilson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Wilson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wilson scores with a nice head shot.
The crowd cheers as Wilson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bratts doesn't seem phased though.

Bratts darts in and clinches Wilson up against the cage.
Wilson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Bratts goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Bratts is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Wilson manages to break the clinch.
Wilson misses with a kick to the body.
Wilson clobbers Bratts with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bratts throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Wilson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bratts's guard now.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Wilson throws a big right hand that misses.
Bratts wants to stand but Wilson is controlling the position.

Wilson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bratts's head.
Wilson is working Bratts over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wilson with a flurry of punches that miss.
Wilson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bratts keeping moving, preventing Wilson from controlling successfully.
Wilson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wilson wants to control from the top but Bratts keeps moving.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Wilson throws a strike but Bratts rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Bratts won't allow Wilson to sweep him here.

Wilson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bratts gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Wilson wants to sweep here but Bratts controlling him for the moment.
Bratts wants to control from the top but Wilson keeps moving.
Bratts stands up over Wilson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Wilson tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Wilson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bratts defends it easily.
Bratts wants to pass the guard but Wilson is keeping the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brian Wilson dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Bratts instigates a clinch.

Bratts breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bratts misses with a few strikes there.
Wilson misses with a looping left.
Brian Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bratts changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Wilson lands with a hook. Bratts tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

and Bratts counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Bratts misses with a straight right.
Bratts shoots in looking for a takedown. Wilson tries to sprawl out of it but Bratts keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wilson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wilson missing with a left hand there. Bratts was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wilson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bratts back to the cage. Wilson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Wilson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bratts looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Bratts throws a head kick that half lands.


It looks like Brian Wilson has been cut.
Bratts is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wilson.
Bratts moves forwards but Wilson connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Wilson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jack Bratts is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bratts throws out a loose jab but Wilson uses good head movement to avoid it.

Wilson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Bratts lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.


Wilson is rocked!
Bratts lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Wilson is still on wobbly legs! Can Bratts finish him?

Bratts fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wilson, pushing him back against the cage.
Wilson blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Wilson seems to have recovered his senses.
Wilson tries to circle away but Bratts has him pinned against the cage.

Bratts avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Bratts throws a series of punches but Wilson avoids them all with ease.
Bratts pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Wilson has had enough of the clinch but Bratts keeps him there for the moment.

Wilson is trying to break free.
Wilson wants to get back to striking at distance but Bratts won't allow it.

Bratts is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Wilson loads up on a big right hand but Bratts slips the punch.

Wilson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bratts.

Still in the clinch, Bratts scores with a nice short uppercut.

Bratts is trying to drag Wilson to the mat but Wilson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
