Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vitor Rosseti!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barral is looking to clinch but Rosseti is avoiding it.
Barral scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Barral drives through with a takedown into guard.
Barral will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Rosseti looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Barral stopping the sweep attempt from Rosseti.
Rosseti is trying to control the position but Barral postures up.
Rosseti trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Rosseti has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Barral wants to pass the guard but Rosseti is keeping the position.

Rosseti is looking for a triangle but Barral pushes his legs off easily.

Rosseti utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Rosseti with a couple of shots from the bottom there - nothing Barral can't handle though.
Rosseti is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Rosseti keeping moving, preventing Barral from controlling successfully.
Rosseti tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Barral has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Rosseti manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Barral manages to get himself to full guard.
Rosseti postures up in Barral's guard and throws a big left but Barral blocks it.
Rosseti would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Rosseti is pushing down on Barral's leg trying to pass to half guard. Barral is fighting to maintain full guard but Rosseti has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barral is really struggling to control Rosseti but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Rosseti slips nicely into half guard.

Rosseti is thwarting Barral's attempts to control the position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Rosseti is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Barral wants to improve his position but Rosseti is controlling well.

Rosseti looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Rosseti thows an elbow strike that misses. Barral gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Rosseti doesn't seem too bothered but Barral quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Rosseti is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Rosseti really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
