The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mckain throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mckain looks to land a right hand but Cavaricci moved out of range.
Mckain will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cavaricci shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mckain as he avoids it easily.
Mckain tries to clinch up.
Mckain misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cavaricci shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Mckain is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mckain flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Cavaricci is looking for a kimura but Mckain is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cavaricci to get the leverage.
Cavaricci in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Mckain tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Cavaricci!
