Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andy Blood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, First Second! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Second tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Second darts in trying to clinch and Blood counters with a nice uppercut. Blood looks to land a left hand but Second moved out of range nicely. Blood swings widly with a right hand
and Second counters with a nice body shot. Blood throws a lazy right hand but Second sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Blood lands with a nice combination. Second backs away looking to recover.
It looks like First Second has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Second moves to clinch but Blood breaks away and Blood counters with a straight right hand. First Second seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Blood circles away from the clinch attempt and Blood cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Second darts in trying to clinch and Blood cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Second darts in and clinches Blood up against the cage. Second misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Blood.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Blood takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. With the fighters up against the cage, Second throws an elbow but misses. Second has a couple of punches blocked by Blood.
Blood is trying to push Second away but Second has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Second prevents Blood from breaking the clinch. Blood is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Second looking to throw knees to the head but Blood is blocking nicely.
Second lands a good knee to the midsection. Blood won't want to take too many of those. Blood on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Second throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Blood lands a right hand that snaps the head of Second backwards. Blood wants to break free but Second has control.
Second tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Second is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Second throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Second using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Blood has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Blood lands on the inside with an uppercut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Second lands an elbow just above Blood 's eye. Second throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Second landing knees to the body.
Second lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blood misses with a body punch.

Second tries to land a knee to the head but Blood blocks with his arms.

Second with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Second trying to land knees to the body.
Second comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Second throws an elbow but it misses.
Second misses with a knee strike.
Second looking to throw knees to the head but Blood is blocking nicely.
The referee calls for Blood to work.
Blood can't break the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blood wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Second has him pressed against the cage. A nice left hand lands by Blood.
A head punch on the inside from Second fails to land. Second looking to throw knees to the head but Blood is blocking nicely.
Second trying to land knees to the body.
Blood is looking to break free of the clinch but Second has double underhooks. Blood is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Blood lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Second or not. This has been an exciting period of action! Blood avoids the elbow strike from Second, against the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Second landing knees to the head.
Blood takes a knee right on the jaw!
Blood stalls. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Andy Blood will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on First Second's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Blood keeps the fight on the outside. Blood throws a lazy right hand but Second sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Second tries to clinch and Blood counters with a left and a right that stings Second. Blood tests Second's chin there with a solid looking shot. Second tries to clinch but fails miserably and Blood counters with a crisp one two that drops Second! Blood thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Second to his feet! Second is in big trouble!
Second is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Second wants to clinch and Blood counters with a left to the body. Second is still on wobbly legs! Can Blood finish him? Blood plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Second to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Second just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Andy Blood!
