Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackmon clinches with his opponent.
De Ertu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Blackmon lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Blackmon gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows De Ertu to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Blackmon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as De Ertu controls the pace.
De Ertu stands up from guard. Let's bang!
De Ertu darts in and clinches Blackmon up against the ropes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

De Ertu wants to take the fight to the mat but Blackmon manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

De Ertu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Blackmon on the ground.
Blackmon thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
De Ertu is not content to let Blackmon control the position.
De Ertu is looking for a sweep.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
De Ertu struggling a bit here.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but John Blackmon will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Blackmon closes the distance and clinches.
Blackmon lands an elbow just above De Ertu 's eye.
De Ertu tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Blackmon smiles and moves away.
Blackmon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Blackmon has managed to clinch.
De Ertu scores with a shot to the side of Blackmon's head.
De Ertu tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Blackmon just stands there and leans against the ropes.
De Ertu keeps control of Blackmon as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Blackmon tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Blackmon is trying to work for a single leg takedown but De Ertu pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Blackmon is fighting off a takedown attempt but De Ertu is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Blackmon to the mat. Blackmon regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Blackmon trying to keep a closed guard but De Ertu is proving a slippery customer.
De Ertu tries to stand but Blackmon is controlling from the bottom.

Blackmon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and De Ertu defends well.

Blackmon looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but De Ertu is defending well. Blackmon quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! De Ertu has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Blackmon celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
