Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dee Pain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Joseph!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joseph looks to land a left hand but Pain moved out of range nicely.
Pain misses with a wild body shot.
Joseph looks to land a combination but Pain avoids it well.
Pain avoids the head kick by Joseph.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Pain.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Pain scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Joseph to see if he's OK.
Pain looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Joseph is avoiding damage well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Joseph managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Pain.
Pain landing a few strikes.
Pain tries to advance to mount but can't.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pain cracks Joseph with a big elbow.
Joseph struggling a bit here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Joseph is looking for a sweep.
Pain working the body and head with strikes.
Pain wants to control but Joseph is keeping him busy.
Pain remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Joseph tries to buck Pain off but Pain is having none of it.
Joseph wants to control but Pain postures up.
Joseph regains half guard, as Pain was trying to land strikes.
Pain throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pain stops Joseph from getting back to his feet.
Joseph is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Pain scores with a couple of nice shots.
Pain is trying to control. Joseph wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Pain is really struggling to control Joseph but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Pain works his foot free and advances to mount.
Pain landing strikes from the mount.


It looks like Anthony Joseph has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A nice elbow there by Pain.


That has opened up Anthony Joseph's cut even more.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Anthony Joseph's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Dee Pain!
After winning the bout, Dee Pain thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
