The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Galuszka counters with a big head kick but Filho shrugs it off.
Filho throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Galuszka counters with a head kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Filho misses the target.

Filho wants to lay and pray for a moment but Galuszka keeps working.
Galuszka is looking to escape.

Filho trying to control the position from guard on top but Galuszka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Filho wants to stand but Galuszka has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Filho decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Galuszka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Filho takes the fight into the clinch.

Galuszka blocking some punches.
Galuszka tries to circle away but Filho has him pinned against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Galuszka has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Filho uses from the top position.

Galuszka pushes Filho off and gets back to his feet.
Filho steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Galuszka. That one must have hurt.
Filho is breathing heavily.
Galuszka thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Filho if he has to take too many more of those.
A nice inside leg kick there by Galuszka. That's going to slow Filho down.
Galuszka bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Galuszka. Filho shrugs it off though.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Galuszka lands a brutal head kick. Filho looks out on his feet and Galuszka throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
