Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gines Romero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Metro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Romero might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Deftones -Rocket Skates. Gines Romero has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gines Romero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jay Metro! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Metro shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Metro showed some decent athleticism there. Metro wants to stand up but Romero manages to regain full guard. Romero working for a triangle but Metro defends it easily.
Metro preventing the sweep. Metro missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Metro wanted to stand there but Romero had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Romero bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Metro's guard. Romero slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Romero is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Romero advances position into side control! Romero throws a strike aimed at the side of Metro's head but Metro avoids it well. Romero looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Metro is avoiding damage well.
Metro is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Metro is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Romero has knee on belly and moves into mount. Metro takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Romero putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Romero looking to secure an arm triangle but Metro defends it well. Metro taking shots to the head. Metro wants to get back to his feet.

Romero lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Romero landing shots from mount. Romero has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Metro's face.
Metro is rocked! Romero cracks Metro with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gines Romero! As Gines Romero got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Apa a Rigión e Murcia!!!'.
