The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirkorov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Walden counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Walden breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Walden wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kirkorov keeps working.
Kirkorov manages to get back to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Walden throws a strike but Kirkorov avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Walden is pushing down on Kirkorov's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kirkorov is fighting to maintain full guard but Walden has managed to sneak the leg through.
Kirkorov is in trouble now - Walden has advanced to mount!

Walden lands a big shot there that rocks Kirkorov but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Walden breaks from Kirkorov's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Kirkorov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kirkorov tries to get out of the position.

Kirkorov is in a horrible position here. Walden smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Walden loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Kirkorov scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Walden land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Walden stands and salutes the crowd.
