Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Bennett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Picker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bennett comes into the arena with Sum 41 - Fat Lip blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Jake Bennett has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Picker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Bennett has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Picker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Bennett not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Picker wants to control from the top but Bennett keeps moving.

Bennett is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Picker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bennett. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bennett is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Picker is just riding it out for now. Bennett eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Picker is controlling Bennett's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Picker suckers Bennett into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Picker is now in Bennett's guard!
