The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shlemenko shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nikolai pinned against the cage. Nikolai gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Shlemenko fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Nikolai to the ground. Shlemenko is now in Nikolai's guard.
