Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Aviles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mrs Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mrs Harrison!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aviles shoots and misses

and Harrison counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Aviles!
Harrison fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Aviles could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Harrison lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Harrison closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Harrison wants to take a breather but Aviles is having none of it.
Harrison wants to advance to full mount but Aviles doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Aviles enables Harrison to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Aviles manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Harrison thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mrs Harrison dominated that round.

Aviles throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Harrison has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Aviles uses from the top position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Harrison can do anything to dispel that myth.

Aviles looking to sit in guard and control but Harrison gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Harrison feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Harrison tries to clinch but Aviles is having none of it.

Aviles shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Harrison pinned against the cage. Harrison gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Aviles closes the distance and clinches up with Harrison, looking for a takedown. Aviles pushes Harrison against the cage but Harrison circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Mrs Harrison showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Aviles is looking to stand up but Harrison isn't so interested in that idea.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Aviles tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Aviles might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mrs Harrison hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Aviles gets tackled into the cage by Harrison. Harrison maintains the clinch.

Harrison has picked Aviles up - he's going for a ride! Harrison dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Harrison stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Aviles to get to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Harrison is looking to clinch but Aviles is avoiding it.
Harrison pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Aviles throws a head kick that Harrison semi-blocks.

Aviles tries to score a power double leg takedown but Harrison sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Aviles somewhat.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mrs Harrison comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Harrison winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
