Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Boris Moiseev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tournament Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Boris Moiseev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tournament Master! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Master closes this distance looking for a takedown but Moiseev circles away. Master shoots in for a takedown but Moiseev shows good takedown defense. Moiseev tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Master paws at him with a jab and circles away. Moiseev doesn't manage to clinch there - Master circles away.
Moiseev clinches up with Master and pushes him back against the cage. Master wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Moiseev has him pressed against the cage. Moiseev throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Master blocks it with crossed arms. Moiseev misses with a knee strike.

Moiseev pushes down on Master's leg and manages to get into half guard. Master has hold of Moiseev's hands but Moiseev slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Moiseev working over Master with some ground and pound. Master looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moiseev decides to return to a standing position. Nice jab there from Master. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Master misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Master is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Moiseev keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Master misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Moiseev's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Moiseev will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Horrible takedown by Master or perhaps it was just good defense by Moiseev which made him look bad. Moiseev has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Moiseev rushes Master and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Master struggles to land a body shot inside as Moiseev controls his hands.

He's now in the guard on the top. Moiseev is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Moiseev lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Moiseev seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Master does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Master tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Moiseev lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Master has hold of Moiseev's hands but Moiseev slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Moiseev there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Moiseev drops an elbow to the side of Master's head. Master is in trouble now - Moiseev has advanced to mount! Moiseev landing shots from mount. Boris Moiseev overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. BOOM! Moiseev connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Moiseev tries to control but Master wriggling away. Master tries to hold on but Moiseev pushes him away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Moiseev looking to finish Master with some ground and pound. This is bad for Master! Moiseev is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Master can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Boris Moiseev. Well Moiseev has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
