Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denny Bom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eric Morgan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Denny Bom! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morgan closes the distance and clinches. Morgan wants the takedown. Bom is fighting it off but Morgan persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bom's guard against the cage. Bom is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Morgan is controlling him. Morgan forces his way into half guard. Morgan perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Morgan prevents Bom from standing back up.
Morgan is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Morgan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bom is just riding it out for now. Morgan eventually gives up the hold. Morgan seems to be looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan is taking a breather. Bom says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Morgan is trying to control. Bom wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Morgan wants to work for an arm triangle but Bom is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Morgan in particular looking to stall. Bom has a hand on Morgan's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Morgan takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Morgan is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Bom has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Bom! Bom is fighting to break Morgan's control of his arms but Morgan is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bom won't allow Morgan to sweep him here. Bom got a little sloppy there for a moment and Morgan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bom has managed to get both his arms back between Morgan's legs - danger averted. Bom must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bom preventing the sweep. Bom wants to stand but Morgan is controlling his posture from full guard. Morgan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bom is one step ahead there. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Morgan is working hard here to advance position. Morgan has Bom pulled in close to control his posture.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morgan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bom can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Morgan is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Morgan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bom! Bom throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Morgan working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bom tries to lock up and control but Morgan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bom is squirming around, avoiding Morgan's attempts to control the action. Morgan looking to secure an arm triangle but Bom defends it well. Bom tries to hold on but Morgan pushes him away. Morgan looking to control but Bom is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Bom is working to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Morgan is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bom to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bom shrugs it off. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bom is wriggling around trying to escape.

A combination from Bom does no damage. Bom avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Morgan forces Bom back against the cage and clinches. Morgan wants the takedown. Bom is fighting it off but Morgan persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bom's guard against the cage. Morgan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Morgan passes Bom's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Bom wants to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Morgan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Bom is looking for a sweep. Morgan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Morgan frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Morgan with a couple of short strikes. Morgan controlling the pace for now. Morgan looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Morgan takes Bom's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Bom is in trouble. Bom is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Morgan gets his way!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Morgan is persistently looking for the submission but Bom is defending it well.

Even with his hooks in, Morgan manages to miss with strikes from the back. Morgan missing with strikes. Bom rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Morgan thows a huge punch but Bom dodges it nicely.

We're going to have a standup here because Eric Morgan wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Morgan has Bom up against the cage in a clinch.

Morgan has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Denny Bom has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Eric Morgan showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Morgan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
