Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nick Lewis!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Szent shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lewis as he avoids it easily.
Szent tries for a takedown but Lewis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lewis lands with a right hand.
Szent shoots in but Lewis avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Szent. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lewis digs a good body shot into Szent's ribs.
Lewis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Szent stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Lewis throws a shot to the body.
An inside leg kick lands from Lewis.
Lewis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Szent is defended easily by Lewis.
Szent is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Szent misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lewis dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Szent throws a body punch but Lewis moves out of range.

Lewis cracks Szent with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Szent shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Szent wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lewis keeps working.
Lewis wants to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Billy Szent.
Szent takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lewis with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Szent takes one to the side of the head.
Szent changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lewis tries to avoid it but Szent manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lewis to the ground. Lewis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lewis punishes Szent's body with a nice straight punch.
Lewis smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Szent looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lewis is fending him off so far but Szent persists. Nope, Lewis circles away and we're back to standing.
Lewis digs a good hook to Szent's body.
Lewis connects with a body shot that sends Szent's belly button to the back.
Szent's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lewis connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Szent scrambles back to his feet.

Nick Lewis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lewis moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Oh Szent is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lewis ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Szent seems to have got his legs back now.
Szent's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lewis connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Szent scrambles back to his feet.
Szent takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Lewis throws a leg kick which misses Szent's front leg but catches the back leg as Szent tries to avoid it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Billy Szent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lewis lands a really nice looking cross but Szent seems unphased.
Lewis lands with a cross.
Lewis cracks Szent on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Szent falls backwards against the cage. Lewis follows up with more strikes that drop Szent to his knees. Lewis keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Szent! This one is all over!
