Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dax MaCauley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Ricardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricardo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bang the Drum All Day by Todd Rundgren. Dax MaCauley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MaCauley tries to clinch up but Ricardo circles away and keeps his distance.

The fighters circling - MaCauley throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ricardo looks to score with a jab to the body but MaCauley is just out of range.
Ricardo shoots in and bounces MaCauley off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

MaCauley utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Ricardo wants to control from the top but MaCauley keeps moving.

MaCauley is looking to stand up but Ricardo isn't so interested in that idea.

Ricardo cracks MaCauley with a solid left hand.
MaCauley is breathing heavily.
Ricardo trying to control but MaCauley is working from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ricardo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Ricardo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ricardo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ricardo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of MaCauley's head.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Ricardo dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
MaCauley fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ricardo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but MaCauley moves away.
MaCauley takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ricardo keeps the fight on the outside.
Ricardo throws a good cross that connects.
Ricardo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ricardo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
A nice elbow there by Ricardo.
MaCauley takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Ricardo's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
